I had a chance to attend Big Data & AI World 2025 in ExCeL London. With the brilliant minds in technology coming together to exchange ideas, solutions, and predictions about the future of data and artificial intelligence, the event had the feel of a busy hub.

Shazam founder Chris Barton gave the keynote address to kick off the day. He walked us through the process of how data and artificial intelligence transformed a basic concept into a widely used app. It was enlightening to observe how data-driven innovation can transform industries and alter our lifestyles.
As the day went on, the sessions were filled with valuable insights. Andrew Staines, World Intellectual Property Organisation spoke about the impact of AI on intellectual property, while Cassandra Vukorep from Lloyds shared some valuable strategies for integrating AI into financial services.

I learned from these talks how deeply AI is already ingrained in various industries. Highlight number two was the expo floor. The newest in AI and data solutions were being demonstrated by representatives of firms like Docker and DELL Technologies. It was insightful to discover how businesses are using these technologies to solve practical problems.
The universal knowledge is that artificial intelligence is here to stay and is revolutionising all sectors of the economy. In order to develop creative solutions, tech and traditional sectors must collaborate, and the event demonstrated the enormous potential that arises when industries come together.
I left the event with more questions than answers, but that’s what made it exciting. Big Data & AI World 2025 proved that the future is happening right now, and there is so much to
look forward to in the world of data and AI.
